Hi there, I'm Valerie :)

People are at the forefront of everything I do as a designer. I focus on experience, wanting people to feel, explore, and connect through the work that I create. Because of this, I am constantly considering the “why” behind my choices, in order to center my work around principles of inclusivity, thoughtfulness, and purpose. As I continue to develop as a designer, I am interested in applying my skills in areas with opportunity for both personal growth and greater impact.

I recently graduated summa cum laude with Cal Poly SLO's class of 2026. I received my B.F.A. in Art & Design, with a concentration in Graphic Design. I was incredibly honored to be the sole recipient of the Cal Poly Art & Design Department’s award for Outstanding Work in Graphic Design.

Though I'm currently located in the Bay Area, I spend a lot of time traveling up and down the coast of California. In whatever downtime I have, I enjoy reading, cooking, and hanging out with my dwarf hamster Remy. Please feel free to reach out for any design or other inquiries!
