Hi there, I'm Valerie :)

People are at the forefront of everything I do as a designer. I focus on experience, wanting people to feel, explore, and connect through the work that I create. Because of this, I am constantly considering the “why” behind my choices, in order to center my work around principles of inclusivity, thoughtfulness, and purpose. As I continue to develop as a designer, I am interested in applying my skills in areas with opportunity for both personal growth and greater impact.

I am currently a fourth year Art & Design student at Cal Poly SLO, concentrating in Graphic Design, and I will be graduating in June 2026.

Though I was born and raised in Los Altos, I spend a lot of time traveling up and down California. In whatever downtime I have, I enjoy reading, cooking, and hanging out with my dwarf hamster Remy. Please feel free to reach out for any design or other inquiries!
