Chelsea Collection

Introduction

The Chelsea Collection is a series of four wine labels that celebrate sisterhood, family tradition, and nostalgic childhood memories.

Inspired by hair braiding, a skill passed down through generations of women in my family, the series uses braids as a primary motif and explores this action as a metaphor for connection and shared identity. Each of the four labels represents a different sister, translating her distinct personality into a visual narrative while maintaining a cohesive design system. Though deeply personal to my own experiences as an older sister, the collection is made to resonate with anyone who values family and the nostalgia of growing up together. Made for memories, the collection is intended to be bought as a set and shared in a group.

Concept Development

The creative strategy behind the collection combined period-inspired illustration, location-based imagery, and bold patterning.

Floral illustrations drew from Art Nouveau drawings, chosen for their symmetry, femininity, and ornate qualities. Each flower was source from our childhood garden, corresponding to the favorite flower of the sister that each edition represents. The adapted four-strand braid pattern on the neck band is visually unique for the row of diamonds that runs down its center. It serves as a unifying visual element that simultaneously represents the four sisters.

Gold Detailing

Gold accents were used for repeating brand elements, such as the logo seals on the front label and lid and for the diamonds within the four-strand braid pattern.
