During election season, voters are expected to independently assess candidates and legislation, using personal research to determine which choices best align with their own beliefs. Newer and first time voters often struggle to sort through available information, leading to a lack of confident and informed choices. PolitiMatch is a mobile application designed to increase voting accuracy by organizing political information in relation to the user’s beliefs. By structuring research around what matters most to each user, the application provides an intentional and structured research process, even when dealing with new or unfamiliar information.

PolitiMatch’s analysis and matching system operates on a rolling basis, incorporating the user’s previous answers and eliminating the time strain of starting from scratch. This allows data to be carried easily into new election seasons, and even translated to other voting districts with entirely separate candidates.
